We are currently seeking a Full-Time DZ Truck Driver
We a locally operated construction company specializing in highway guide rail, commercial and residential fencing. We are currently seeking an experienced full-time DZ truck driver. Join our growing team dedicated to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction with local and regional runs across Ontario and Quebec.
- MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO CHANGING SCHEDULE
- SOME WEEKEND WORK REQUIRED
Responsibilities:
- Local, in-town & out of town deliveries and pick-ups.
- Toronto, London, all other Southern Ontario locations
- Northern & Northwestern Ontario to Manitoba border.
- Assist with mobilizing to/from job sites, and delivery/pickup of various materials, supplies, etc.
- Assist with loading/unloading
- Conduct daily vehicle and/or equipment pre-trip inspection
- Complete driver’s logbook using electronic logbook devices and hours of service rules and regulations.
- Properly load and secure cargo.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Sleep in truck sleeper berth when required.
Qualifications:
- Valid DZ driver’s license
- 2+ years of DZ driving experience preferred
- Clean driver's abstract and CVOR
- Able to operate manual & automatic transmissions & vehicles equipped with air brakes.
- Able to lift heavy loads up to 50 lbs.
- Team player with positive, self-starter attitude
- Excellent time management skills
