Responsibilities

Supervise and participate in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and appliances.

Read, interpret, and mark up blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure precise plumbing layouts.

Oversee work performed by apprentices and junior plumbers; provide mentorship and on-site training.

Perform and review plumbing inspections to ensure compliance with plumbing and gas codes.

Maintain accurate records of labor, material use, and project timelines.

Collaborate with general contractors, site supervisors, inspectors, and other trades to ensure job coordination and project success.

Ensure that safety standards are strictly followed on all job sites.

Carry out advanced soldering, troubleshooting, and testing of plumbing systems.

Resolve on-site issues and communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Contribute to process improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
Qualifications

Certified Journeyman Plumber with a minimum of 5 years hands-on plumbing experience.

Foreman experience or demonstrated leadership on job sites is required.

Direct experience with multi-story residential and commercial building projects is essential.

Strong knowledge of plumbing and gas codes (residential and commercial).

Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.

Proficient with both hand and power tools.

Experience supervising apprentices and junior team members.

Solid understanding of scheduling, inspections, and construction workflows.
-
Working knowledge of HVAC systems is an asset.

High attention to detail, accountability, and professional communication skills.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of multiple ongoing projects.
