Journeyman Install Plumber (Commercial)

We are a family-owned mechanical company specializing in Plumbing, Gas Fitting, Hydronic Heating, Geothermal, Furnaces, Air Conditioning, Sheet Metal, and High-Pressure Cleaning Systems. We service agricultural, commercial, and residential clients.

We are currently seeking a Journeyman Plumber with strong commercial installation experience who can take a leadership role on job sites. The ideal candidate is a team player, capable of working with minimal supervision, and willing to train and supervise apprentices.

 

Responsibilities

  • Install commercial plumbing systems

  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications

  • Layout piping systems according to plans and code requirements

  • Lead and support apprentices on job sites

  • Work safely and efficiently on active construction sites

  • Coordinate with supervisors and other trades

  • Maintain tools, materials, and a clean, organized work area

  • Follow all company safety policies and job-site regulations

 

Qualifications

  • Valid 306A Plumbing license

  • Minimum 10 years of plumbing experience, with a strong focus on commercial installations

  • Ability to read and work from construction drawings

  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and best practices

  • Ability to work independently and take leadership on projects

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Additional qualifications in Refrigeration, Gas Fitting, Electrical, or Sheet Metal are considered an asset
