Journeyperson Plumber

We are currently looking for a licensed Journeyperson Plumber. For the chosen applicant, 6 months of accommodations will be provided if selected applicant has to move from another area.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
• Assemble and install pipes, fittings, valves, and fixtures
• Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and HVAC technicians to complete projects
• Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions
• Follow safety procedures and adhere to building codes and regulations
• Other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization

Qualifications:

• Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber license or equivalent certification
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, including the ability to read schematics and blueprints
• Experience in assembling, installing, and repairing plumbing fixtures and systems
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools related to plumbing work
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
